We actually had been discussing this in the other thread, which had falsely reported a larger number of rides being closed.

Since it was a voluntary shutdown, I am hoping that it means they realized they have probably spent more money on fines and appeals than actually fixing the problem.

Or it might just be the negative publicity that's getting to them. LAT is about the third or fourth to run a story on this.
