Why do people hate on the Fast Pass !?!?!?!? I think that people that dont like the FP just cant plan ahead and dont like the idea of having to plan your day before you engage in it.Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:And there won't be. Disneyland is slowly eliminating Fastpass all together. If you notice all the newest rides Subs and TSM don't have Fastpass. Disneyland has learned that Fastpass doesn't work, and this makes me happy, as many know I have a thing about Fastpass (see fastpass thread).elizabethswann wrote: there are no fastpasses for the ride yet.

I actually agree with you, Sparten. I love FP, and I love breezing by people on long lines with my FP in hand. It's not my problem that people don't use it. Nor should I be penalized for it.Sparten wrote:Why do people hate on the Fast Pass !?!?!?!? I would love to see the people mover come back. The Nemo ride is not too impressive in my view, but I'm old and loved the original. They put a lot of stock in video and it's just everywhere.

Did you ever get to ride the rocket rods that replaced the people mover?London Evans wrote:I would love to see the people mover come back. The Nemo ride is not too impressive in my view, but I'm old and loved the original. They put a lot of stock in video and it's just everywhere.
Does Nemo seem to be a popular attraction now that it has been open awhile?

Re: Finding Nemo Sub ride - the new one
I missed the rocket rods by two months. They were short lived and broke all the time because the track was flat and they had to slow it down constantly so they has to close it. Nemo is popular. Just feels like it lacks imagination. The technology is amazing, the imagination is low. No childhood wonder.Amy wrote:Did you ever get to ride the rocket rods that replaced the people mover?London Evans wrote:I would love to see the people mover come back. LOL! I was lucky that one of few family vacations at DLR was during that limited time during the Rocket Rodz. We actually did enjoy it!

I haven't heard that Fastpasses are a thing of the past. Maybe the Subs and TSMM at DLR didn't get Fastpass because they did not see any need of it for those rides like they do for Star Tours 2.0...

I do wonder what they did with the star tours FP machines though (for those that don't know, they got rid of them and took over the Buzz Lightyear ones)? They might be held over for Cars Land.

Re: Finding Nemo Sub ride - the new one
Has TSMM had the lines at DLR like it does at WDW?? I remember Soarin' Over California when I rode it at DCA did not have the lines that Soarin' has at EPCOT.
And I could understand why Nemo at DL doesn't have the lines; even though its new, I know it's EPCOT counterpart had no lines, no waiting within a few weeks of opening. Therefore, no real need for FastPass there.

Not sure since I last went to WDW right before your version opened. At DCA the wait is easily over 40 mins on a slow day.
Sorain', on a slow day, is now much shorter (almost walk on).
DLR's Nemo still has lines after four years, but the reason they probably won't add it to the roster is that they would probably need to build a new area for them to get in and (more importantly) the ride is a lot slower to load so FP might really jump the standby wait up as well.

I agree with you there, I don't think FP would work well for Nemo with the smaller occupancy and slower load times. That would be like Jungle Cruise having FP...Wizzard419 wrote:Not sure since I last went to WDW right before your version opened. At DCA the wait is easily over 40 mins on a slow day.
