If anyone is an annual pass holder they should have received a post card in the mail inviting them to a sneak peek preview of the ride on June 6th and 7th. If you are a passholder and didn't receive one of these go to
disneyland.com/nemopreview
It has to be done before May 28th. It's a drawing cuz they can only let so many people in.
I wonder how early in the morning we should be lining up at the park to be able to see the opening events???
And as far as lines go the estimated opening day wait time for the ride is 3 hours. They say length of the line is supposed to stretch all the way passed Autopia!
I'm going to Disneyland June 15th to the 17th and I think I'll wait 'til lines die down before I ride it.
I do stuff sometimes.

I received the card, but they are doing the event on a weekday. It's a two hour drive to get there after work. Not for me
Then on top of that, I'm sure the wait for the attraction will be huge. Ugh, I'm sure the lines will be even longer outside of the preview.

Got mine yesterday, I won't be entering it. The main reason is that you find out if you won on the 30th and I won't be able to find a cheap flight that quickly, especially to LA. Then of course I have to rent a car get hotel room, ack to much money right now.

I've been pondering this as of late, and maybe someone knows the answer to this. What day is the media day for the FNSV being held on? I've heard two things; June 10'th, and opening day: June 11'th. So, does anyone know what day it really is?
Also, if anyone has visited Mouse Times yesterday or went to the park yesterday, you would of went up to the lagoon finding that the construction wall is finally down! Everyone can now view the lagoon in all it's beautiful glory once again from ground level.

I can't wait to see the new sub ride! I'm going to go a few days after it becomes available.

So, I have a funny story. I didn't win any of the AP passes, but went today (the last of the AP Preview days) and just went up and asked them about an hour before closing the park. I asked if there were any extra passes, and the Cast Member asked if I was an AP holder. I said "Yeah," and she asked to see my pass. When I showed her it, she said, "Go ahead an get in line." I got to ride the new subs!! It is great! Different than the original, but with some great surprises and effects. It is definitely different depending on where you sit, too.

Thats awesome slotofkit. How long was the line? I will be there in August, and I know the line will be insane when I get there but I will still stand there.

When we go, we're going immediately over to the Sub ride, but I'm sure it will still be crowded. After all, it comes out on the 11th and we're going the 15th.

So, I ended up going on it twice. Once for the preview and then the next morning for its soft opening. The preview night, the line was within the main queue and took about 20-25 minutes. The next day the line was out of the queue and winding around in front of the lagoon. It took about 40 minutes. They did rope off all the way around the lagoon clear to the Small World "Mall" area. But the line surprised me in how continuously it moved.

So is the queue entirely outdoors? And is there going to be fastpass for this attraction?
Can't wait to hear more reviews! Did anyone go for the big opening day today?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Queue's entirely outdoors and no fastpass. I went on Sunday, again, but didn't ride because they had the big ceremony that day with the celebs and press. It's open to the public today.
