Me too :) Sometimes it's bittersweet though. :(

I wasn't alive for most of it and I think I was photographed riding the Peoplemover once (I'll have to actually find photo albums for proof) so I'm sad that I know I will never experience the attractions for myself. Still, I love the nostalgic factor.

I enjoyed those photos of the park very much, but I think I enjoyed the beautiful images of the Attraction Posters more. I remember those so well, especially as you entered Disneyland and probably the one atop the mushroom for the Alice in Wonderland ride. But I definitely recall each one, there were no surprises here. They also reminded me of the billboards that used to appear out on the "freeways" of the early Autopias in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. As always, the Disney parks are to be commended for those little details, it's what sets them apart.
And yes, I miss the original CoP and Innerspace a whole bunch, and Skull Rock. I too wish some things could have remained unchanged.

Thank you for posting this article! I love looking at pictures of vintage Disneyland. Some I remember, some I don't...but I love the history of it nonetheless.

My Dad's been on a scanning kick, and he found a box of photos from my mom's first trip in 1958. Here's an iconic building...

I'll see if I can get photobucket to cooperate so I can post all of them.

edited to fix the link so it didn't cut off half the photo

Thanks, I'll look into imgur.com - granted I really should just host them on my own site, I really need to update the photo software on there...and I read the rules on sigs and played with font size to make it readable but not obnoxious.

I really love this site. Thanks for creating it and keeping it going all these years!

Always love the old Disneyland pictures since it allows me to better understand Walt's original vision.

I think JenMuse may have just started a trend. I just redid my signature and made everything as tiny as possible without requiring a magnifying glass to read it.

Cool to see actual classic pictures, instead of Instagrammed new ones.

Gah, don't get me started on instagram! Grrrrr, argh!

But the dead giveaway is usually fashion. Instagram can filter the light and add dirt but it can't change hairstyles and clothes! You need mad photoshop skillz for that. Which I have, but never abuse.
