Ah, it's starting to get safe to go back in the water. I was checking while I was locked away, does racers have a lot of closed time? I kept seeing it as closed.

While the crowds are going away, it is still a 90 min wait for the ride though :D

Too bad those pumpkins they had last year were so obscenely expensive and limited edition.

It gets the hose, this week with recycled water from Fountain Valley.

Didn't see it in the pics in the last update but I was at Epcot yesterday and saw something new they are selling for Halloween: Haunted Mansion tombstone decorations (no pics, yet). Just wondering if anyone who's been recently has seen these at DL?

Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

They probably are, but I would need to see a pic first to verify.

Found them on the Disney Store site so here's a pic of the three. If it's there, wouldn't surprise me if it is also at DL.

Considering it says "Created for WDW and DLR" I would guess yes. :D I'm surprised that they would use the florida one in the set though.

I see they are adding more stuff to try and fix the mermaid ride, the best improvement would be to add more brickwork, over the entrance, so that no one goes inside. :D

I've never been able to experience the attraction yet, so I can't say much. But based on the videos I've seen, the ride itself looks disappointing for as wonderful as the outside appears...

Aside from the exterior, the only impressive thing on it is the ursula AA, but the material seems to not be able to handle her motion as much as it was worn when I went to the preview.

Another odd thing, the face looks very similar (adjusting for color) to the face they use for the wardrobe in the beauty and the beast thing at WDW.

I've gone on it twice and it had a lot of potential to be good. It just...wasn't. It didn't live up to my expectations. I mean, the dark rides at DLR are a lot older and do it much better but TLM had potential to be good and it didn't work out so well in my opinion.

I think one of the biggest problems is that it doesn't tell any story (I got so much s*it for saying that on another board). If you hadn't seen the movie, which is likely if you consider how old the movie is, it would summarize as the following...

You see a girl that seems to want something

She has a party

Another woman gives her legs

She meets a guy

They get married

There is no conflict or resolution so nothing makes sense, not even why the black person is bad (it kinda comes across as racist since the only black thing in there is being villified).
