That doesn't surprise me too much, LEDs (while energy efficient compared to CF Bulbs and traditonal incandescant lights) suck up power really fast, add in that they also have a reciever (I say it's RF but someone else thinks it might be IR as they have broadcasters all over the area) to control the painter and it gets really power mad.

Nope, that might have been the cars land one where they had a special showing of WoC (which also explains why it cost like $25 more than the preview alone). I probably would have broken my hand slapping people.

So many ear hats, so little time
So the ears weren't really "free" if the preview cost an additional $25

Technically it was a donation to CHOC (childrens hospitals of OC) so it was more like "free show with donation".

Oh, another thing they forgot to mention, Mickey's whatever something something halloween event tickets go on sale today for AP holders, apparently the price has gone up and now fireworks will only be shown at the AP events.

But if you are getting something that is worth that same amount, it hardly seems like a charitable donation. Either way, it is a nice fundraiser for CHOC I'm sure :D

It's America, we don't give unless we get something in return.

I see I was right, rain still grinds the ride to a halt, called it!

Though, consindering that normal California rain is confined to short bursts during the winter/slow seasons, I won't consider it a huge design flaw since this was from a tropical storm if I recall.

Also, I see what happened to the Comicon/ElecTRONica stuff, I was expecting them to show up on one of the surplus sites.

I had a feeling that would be the case too with the rain. I'm honestly not surprised either.

I am still shocked that they have the saftey checkpoint out in the open like that, that spot is going to probably be miserable in August/September.

glow with the show ears are fun but dont apeal to the straight male buyer. i went to the AP special event and they gave them to us for free and we got a special shoing of world of color after hours!!! i think they need to make different styles of the glow ears that apeal to everyone! but other than that they are fun to look at!

You're late!

I swear they keep pushing up the start of halloween overlays each year. Soon the haunted mansion will spend 6 months out of the year as HMH or in the transition phase. :D

Latest update from Micechat: Bidding princesses faire-well as Anaheim protests move to Disneyland, etc.

If anyone's going out to DLR, just be careful around any protestors even though the police have been trying to move them away from that area. They had been obstructing traffic from what I heard on the news yesterday.
