Man, the planting schedule is probably all screwed up because it has been hot as balls for the last couple of weeks with no end in sight. Still in the mid 70's to high 80's.

Since they like to report on every minute change that happens at DLR, did they note that the magic shop now has themed stained glass lights out front? :D

HM is back to normal, with the same old boring ceiling in the stretching room.

They aren't using an updated digital projection for the ceiling for the regular HM?

Nope, the same old one as previous, which is weird considering they did all that work to replicate (and build upon) the old one. I am trying to recall if there were fire sprinklers around the boarder of the scrim before or if the work done to place the projector screen now left subtle marks for ease of install later this year.

It's always good when they give it the proper name for the celebration rather than the semi-racist one of "Chinese New Year".

That price for the charging is kind of high, esp when you consider you have to pay to park. If they are the fast chargers it might not be as much of an issue though. The one part that is always a flaw with these kinds of locations (day-trip locations) is that the charger is only used for a few hours, but this person will be occupying that spot all day, making it impossible for anyone else to occupy the spot. So short of having a valet working the charge areas, it will be under-utilized.

Interesting point on the electric vehicle charging stations. I wonder if they would consider going to some sort of valet system with those if they find demand is quite high? What is the going rate for charging out in Southern California? There are only a few charging stations that I know of around here ~ a few at the mall, and also at one of the casinos ~ but I've never looked at them close enough to see if they charge money for a charge or if they are complimentary. And now that I think of it, I don't even know that there are charging stations at the mall, but simply designated spots for all electric vehicles to park in...hmmm, going to have to check that out next time I'm over that way.

They might, but I would imagine the cost is only to cover the cost of the installs (if they had to pay). Depending on the source they are as low as 25 cents an hour (those are usually ones at government locations) the ones that really rip you off are Wallgreens locations that can charge up to 50 cents. This all doesn't sound like a lot but from what I recall, the rate Disney is charging is between $4.50 and $5 a "gallon".

I would imagine the staff ones were the result of a VP (or C level person) seeing a staffer plugging into a building without paying, which meant they were paying for a worker to come to work and their normal salary.

The volts are pretty reasonable, but there are some super cheap concepts out there that are bare minimum and have projected pricetags under 10k. Though I am not sure if they would be compatible with the charging stations.

I never noticed they have a scale to presumably weigh the dole whip? That is probably good since people would be quite miffed if they were overly shorted.

I doubt that they are going to shutter the subs since they drained the lagoon. It would be cheaper to do nothing and keep it standing but not operating and maintain the chlorine levels, just like they did the last time the subs shut down.

Does anyone know what the delay in refurbing BTMRR is? It has been going on for forever it seems!
And in the same vein, why was the Soarin' refurb shortened to just a few days?

Stuff took longer than expected and Soain' may have not have updated if resources weren't there (mainly if they didn't do the changeover to digital). Though this week it apparently is packed, people just don't want to leave the state I guess.
