Cars Land Opening

Sounds like a decision has been made regarding the opening of Cars Land:

Oh wow, DCA is going to be totally shut down for the day? I'm guessing they will do some kind of press/celeb thing that day. I think they did something like that the day before for Tomorrowland.

Hopefully there will be a special AP preview near the opening date too, like they did for star tours and the little mermaid.

I'm sure they will have the AP preview as well as soft openings come mid May. There is just no way Disney will want to open up fresh without trying to find any kinks first.

They've not done soft openings for the public in a while, they get enough foot traffic from AP only ones now.

They also don't do them until a week, or even days before opening, like with Star Tours and Mermaid.

I may have to avoid that portion of the park until the next off season because I'm not going to look forward to all the gigantic lines and such. I may go one day for photowalking now that my Flickr account has been updated.

Oh, I just thought of something. Is there only one entrance to the land, like toontown? If so, that is going to suck during the first year or so since they will have to line up just to get in.

No, I believe there are at least three entrances. There's one by Hollywood Pictures Backlot, one by A Bug's Land and I think one by Pacific Wharf/Paradise Pier. I'm not too sure but I've seen something that mentions entrances.
