Disneyland Leap Year Feb 29th - 6am to 6am

I'm still not sure if the predictions from trip advisor (summer level crowds) are realistic or if they are smoking crack.

Why did it say it was going to be busy? Personally, crowds don't bother me depending on what my goals are. This time it's just to kick back, have some drinks, and have fun!

I think they are acting as if it was similar to other special events that are open to the public (well the public that pays). But yeah, other than the people who will be lined up at 10 PM tonight so they can get their free mouse ears (normal ones with a sticker on them for the event) at 6 AM, there shouldn't be any difference between today's crowd and tomorrow's.

If you look at the update in the rennovation thread you can see the specials they are doing, some of the food are repeats of the AP party from November, they are making some performers pull graveyard as well.

I'm impressed that they had 3,000 people waiting outside to get into the park this morning. Apparently you had to have been waiting in line between 10pm and 11pm last night in order to get ears this morning... I'll be interested to see what the 3 a.m. crowds are like later because I feel like a lot of the gung-ho morning folks will have to have crashed before then, haha.

Are you going for lunch today? The reports I've seen on Facebook for WDW, it doesn't sound like it is overly crowded. I would guess it might get busier after people get out of work today and head over for the evening hours??
