Yep, special events and fandom make people do stuff like that.

The one great thing about losing your key meant you can enjoy an extra few beverages as you were not going to be driving backsubsonic wrote:Disneyland last night... OMG. It was awesomely fun. Everything was packed. There were lines for all the bars, even Trader Sams. It was like Grad Night for adults. The bad news: I lost my car key at 4:30am, we left, put in a report, crashed at a friends, and called at 8:30am and they had it. I'm on 3 hours of restless sleep but it was fun!

Exactly the opposite. It ended the night! Plus, bars aren't open that late anyways in So.Cal.

Well, not in OC, what is last call at DLR? 2 AM for the bars in DTD and like 10-11 for the hotel ones?
Re: Disneyland Leap Year Feb 29th - 6am to 6am
About 1:30 for hotels and 2am for bars. But I lost my keys at 4:30amWizzard419 wrote:Well, not in OC, what is last call at DLR? 2 AM for the bars in DTD and like 10-11 for the hotel ones?

Maybe it would have been better if the bars closed much earlier than 2 AM? That way, you would have been more sober at 4:30 AM and you wouldn't have lost your car keys...subsonic wrote:About 1:30 for hotels and 2am for bars. I actually wonder how long you could get your drink on to begin with considering the parks reached capacity during the night.

I was drinking from about 5 to 12:30 in the GC hotel. Tried to go to Trader Sams but there was a huge line, as well as House of Blues. The GC hotel bar (Hearthstone lounge) had a line too. ANd to think, I run a Disney website.

You should have thrown some of that Subsonic weight around and got a good table at Trader Sams!subsonic wrote:I was drinking from about 5 to 12:30 in the GC hotel. Yeah man, next visit of mine to WDW we'll have to "hang" more. It was great to meet you again! Miss you and WDW.
Amy:
Yeah, but perhaps we can arrange a big meet for SR's 10th!
