Weird bright lights from Matterhorn?
I was watching the Mattercam (http://www.hojoanaheim.com/take-a-tour/webcam) at 1:40 A.M. when Suddenly this huge Super bright lite came on and lite up the right side of the castle to the point it looked white! then the camera switched over to Space Mountain and it was also reflecting off of that too! Does anyone know what this could be? It was shining from the inside of the Matterhorn and I couldn't see the source so what is it?

Photos or it didn't happen.
It was probably a test for a show, since they try to keep things as quiet as possible they sometimes do them late at night.

If it's around Space Mountain it could be preparations/testing for Ghost Galaxy.

It could be Harold the Yeti waking up to eat an unsuspecting guest for Halloween.

True, that's what they did with WoC at DAC - it was tested late at night, where some resort guests at the Grand Cal was able to get "sneak previews"...Wizzard419 wrote:Photos or it didn't happen.

Could they be adding something to the Matterhorn for Halloween like a Ghost Galaxy as it has been down for a lengthy refurb. Maybe they will make Harold lunge at you... oh wait, that would never work.

The DLR version may not have as much motion, but it also didn't break and become near impossible to repair after opening.

Like Scotty said in Star Trek III, "The more you overtake the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the works"...Wizzard419 wrote:The DLR version may not have as much motion, but it also didn't break and become near impossible to repair after opening.

I'm almost surprised Disney didn't request the removal of the line from the imagineer regarding how they had to build the mountain around the AA due to it's sheer size.

He's jealous that the Yeti at EE does...or well did. I don't know if it's even working now still.NaCler wrote:Could they be adding something to the Matterhorn for Halloween like a Ghost Galaxy as it has been down for a lengthy refurb. WDW EE's Yeti is like a NFL Jacksonville Jaguars QB: they paid millions of dollars to get him out there on the field, but after that he just never performs...
