Wally Boag
Just saw that Wally Boag, that loud, long lean loquacious sometimes laconic lunatic who loved to deal, delve and dabble in delirious dialog and dynamic dissertation...has passed away. He was 91. He was truly a Disney legend...

Aside from the Diamond Horseshoe, remember he was also one of the voices in the original tiki room.

Re: Wally Boag
I had just seen this on one of our Subsonicers' facebook status. May this wonderful legend RIP.
Re: Wally Boag
Saw this on Tumblr (where I host my Disney blog). Sad, sad news. May he rest in peace.

I don't want to make a whole new thread since this falls under the same category but we had lost yet another Disney Legend in the span of one day.
"Betty Taylor, who played Slue Foot Sue in Disney's long-running Golden Horseshoe Revue, passed away Saturday — one day after the death of Wally Boag, who played her character's sweetheart, Pecos Bill."

Yeah, it was a rather depressing weekend....attended a funeral, then found out about Wally Boag, then found out about Betty Taylor. UGH!
I only wish I could fully remember seeing the Golden Horseshoe Revue...I was about 4 when I saw it.
At least his memory will live on through the Tiki Room!

Did you see the show Wally Boag and Betty Taylor were in? That would have been something to see! It's hard to tell from the recording of the show who was having more fun, the actors or the guests! And while I am sure they did the same show over, and over and over, they seemed to keep it freshMmeLeota wrote:Yeah, it was a rather depressing weekend....attended a funeral, then found out about Wally Boag, then found out about Betty Taylor. Yes, but I was really too young to appreciate/remember it. I believe it was in the final year that he was in it.Amy wrote:Did you see the show Wally Boag and Betty Taylor were in?
