Matterhorn chunks o' rock
Disneyland is auctioning off some chunks o' rock from the matterhorn. Seems kinda silly, but I will post the link for the interested:

This is Disney we're talking about. The funny part is how well it will sell! Geez, if only I could have done that with the historic stuff we unearthed last summer on road projects I'd be rich 8)

lol, true. but that is a bidding price, it could go up.Club33Hopeful wrote:Yeah. But it sure is funny how they can throw construction garbage in a box, add a certificate and call it "limited edition" and sell it for money.AKLRULZ wrote:$25 - not too bad! 8)
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Obviously this is a great business for Disney to be in. Hopefully this money goes back to where it came from, the parks.
Now if these Matterhorn rocks are to sell for $50 a piece they would end up taking in $2,000 just off of that. And look at some of the other stuff I found that still are open.
http://cgi.go.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 6529670735 $7,600.00 for a sign from "It's a Small World" in Fl.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6529612934 $6,550.00 for a car from Mr. Toad. I guess if you have it, why not spend it, but almost 8 grand for a small sign that and the pole it was on is a little excessive.
