I do agree. I appreciate each park for what it offers. I might compare one to another, but I wouldn't complain about spending time in any of them. I do have a soft spot for Tokyo Disney Sea as that park had some of the most amazing attractions and theming out of all the parks I have been to so far. And Tokyo Disneyland wins hands down as having the most amazing Winnie the Pooh attraction!!!!!mindflipper wrote:I live on the East Coast, and while I have been to WDW more times than I can count or recall, I will say I love each of the Disney theme-parks I have visited equally. I have been to DLR, DLP, and WDW - and I have had fantastic times at each. I'm not WDW-first and all other parks second. I just love them all.proudcanuck wrote:I think it depends on where you live. I live on the West Coast, so Disneyland is much closer than WDW. I'm sure the people on the East Coast would disagree, but for the same reason. Because I am always going to Disneyland, it will always be my sentimental choice. I'm sure that ALL Disney properties provide an amazing unique experience, and will continue for many years.
I think Amy might agree with me, as she has been those three plus TDL in Japan. Something about visiting the other parks makes you a lover of ALL the parks.

Unless you have no taste buds and can eat Ikea furnishings, it will always be about the food.Jacca5660 wrote:It's always about the food isn't it??Wizzard419 wrote:You have to admit though, their tex-mex is as bad as Europe's.
But yeah, stay far away from their Tex Mex.

I agree about the Tex Mex, Amy. I wouldn't care for any here or over there.

Any style of cooking has good points, as long as it's done right. Even English cooking!!mindflipper wrote:I agree about the Tex Mex, Amy. I wouldn't care for any here or over there.

Tex Mex is higher on the list than British cuisine, but both are pretty low on the list...Jacca5660 wrote:Any style of cooking has good points, as long as it's done right. Even English cooking!!mindflipper wrote:I agree about the Tex Mex, Amy. I wouldn't care for any here or over there.

Clearly you've never had good english food, my "local" and weekly dining place when I was living in London was the Lord Palmerston (the Bishop for Lunch) and the city's best fish and chips (you could even get it grilled) was also within walking distance.
I'm surprised there is so little love for tex-mex. Usually americans love things like enchiladas, nachos, american style tacos/buritos, etc.

Sorry, dude, but my friends admit UK cuisine is awful. Even the ads on BBC America truthfully admits, "Our food is lousy..."

I agree with mindflipper and Amy on this one. I've been lucky enough to go to WDW MANY times, DL in Cali twice and DLRP once. You have totally different experiences in each. The closeness of the original park that Walt built, the ENORMOUS wonder that is Disney World and the just plain fun I had in Paris. While in Paris the castle was decorated in the Jester style:
.
With the dragon sleeping under the castle, it was just so cool, it's hard to explain.
Why do we need to compare them? They all have their magic and that's all that matters.

Oh, a lot of the common food is. But if you cook using fresh stuff it is way better.mindflipper wrote:Sorry, dude, but my friends admit UK cuisine is awful. Even the ads on BBC America truthfully admits, "Our food is lousy..."
I still want to slap them for ever coming up with Iceland.co.uk

Never had the Tex Mex at DLR before but I tend to always avoid those restaurants. Give me the broccoli and cheddar soup in a bread bowl or something from Cafe Orleans, nothing that will get me sick to my stomach the remainder of the day.
