Corporations like Disney are considered by the law profession to be "deep pockets". I can't imagine there isn't a day in a week that Disney doesn't have some case active in litigation or settlement.

And I imagine they settle a lot of those cases just to make the litigants go away. It is probably cheaper to give the person suing a little money than it is to try the case in courts.

Big problem with courts is juries. Even if facts dictate one conclusion, juries can reach another.

As for the new avatar, it's in honor of DLR's HM, which is currently in transition to the HMH. Like the avatar, is the HM or HMH? The avatar is based on one of the changing portraits during the HMH. There will be others coming up during the HMH season.

Maybe next time he will STAND in line like he was supposed to. But, at least he's okay and it wasn't worse.

I agree. Disney has rules for a reason... so that injury could be avoided. Is it really that hard to follow them

You would be surprised how many idiots do (somewhat) the same thing this guy did on a daily basis at the World. Heck over at Universal, their newest coaster, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, has cameras in the queue (for wait time accuracy) and they sometimes use it to tell people not to sit on the railings or the walls. Everyone in line looks around and gives whoever is sitting on the rails and walls a funny look and they get the idea real quick.
