I hope that tomorrow's update for Micechat gives us any other info on when they'd fix the railings.

I bet they aren't going to do any more to the attraction until it is time to refurbish it. Then they will probably take the time to make a more aesthetic solution to the problem.elizabethswann wrote:I hope that tomorrow's update for Micechat gives us any other info on when they'd fix the railings.

Hm, you're probably right about that. Either way I most likely won't be able to post the update until after my second class tomorrow. Yay school.Amy wrote:I bet they aren't going to do any more to the attraction until it is time to refurbish it. I will! I've been actually looking forward to school for a while since I'll be taking classes towards my major.

So you've got your required classes out of the way? What is your major?elizabethswann wrote:I will! I've been actually looking forward to school for a while since I'll be taking classes towards my major.

No, I'm still taking the required classes though I've been going on a real slow path. Hopefully now I'll be able to get some more classes out of the way and my major's criminal justice.Amy wrote:So you've got your required classes out of the way? Good luck to you Ms. Swann, that is a challenging major!
We should be glad Alice's safety railings look as good as they do ~ check out this construction photo from the DL hotel...now those are some bad railings!

No problem! I love your new avatar Did you put it together yourself?!agingerbugg wrote:Thank you for posting those Amy, it is truly horrendous. I had heard reports and people said the rails weren't bad, but the tarps were. I hope it doesn't stay that way, that they can come up with a more aesthetically pleasing fix. I mean OSHA didn't even cite them for it...WTF Disney?
Re: Alice in Wonderland attraction
I thought the railings would only come up if the ride stopped yes?

I saw the railings yesterday when I was on the monorail and they just don't look right at all.

Right now the railings are static but they were talking about putting in new ones later. I'm not sure if the present set is the temporary set or the final product.Melanie wrote:I thought the railings would only come up if the ride stopped yes?

I'm hoping they aren't the final set. It doesn't look right while the ride is in motion.Wizzard419 wrote:Right now the railings are static but they were talking about putting in new ones later.
