Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
Ive been once to the Disneyland hotel and once to the grand Californian. By far the the grand californian was a beautiful nd elegant hotel. Although I wouldn't mind trying the Disneyland hotel again, once they are done remodeling it.

Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
I'm looking forward to see how the Disneyland Hotel will look once the renovation/remodeling is done.
Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
I have stayed at both the Disneyland Hotel and the GC and the GC is much nicer. I would not stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel - it was acquired by Disney and offers nothing special to justify the premium over non-Disney area hotels.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

never stayed at any of them. I imagine the DVC hotel is nice.

The villas at Grand Californian. Would hardly call it a hotel as it is part of an existing hotel... *shrugs*elizabethswann wrote:There's a DVC hotel?paul1232 wrote:never stayed at any of them. I imagine the DVC hotel is nice.
Still leaning towards Grand Cali as of right now.

Ohh, gotcha. I never knew there was something DVC related there but then again I've never stayed at the hotel so I didn't know.MadEye wrote:The villas at Grand Californian. Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
That was news to me as well. But I am not a DVC member, nor will I probably ever have enough money to be one...MadEye wrote:Neither did I until they were mentioned and I checked the Disneyland site.elizabethswann wrote:Ohh, gotcha. You and me both there. That's why I just live through people's experiences.Amy wrote:That was news to me as well. I'd say Grand Californian for the geographic location as well as the design (never stayed at a hotel there but still if I had to it would be there)

Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
After seeing all the pictures of the new suites in the Disneyland Hotels I may rethink the Grand Californian. Granted I don't think I will be able to afford one of the suites but still, WOOF!!

Re: Of the three major resorts on Disneyland property,
I think Paradise Pier needs a revamp to fit the new Pier direction. It could end up looking like the Grand Floridian, but it definitely right now fails in comparison to the other resorts.
