I think there may be a thread already on cast member stories. You may have to go through the search first to double check.

It is a good thread....there's alot of stuff in there. I don't think I came across any that talked about finding stuff in the drained river. You know, from what I read recently, I didn't realize the plants along the river edge were fake!

I think it'd be easier for them to be fake so none of the guests see dead plants floating in the water or ruining the atmosphere.

Gosh, they don't mention that in any of the promos I've seen recently on the landscaping at the world ~ they mention how much pruning and trimming they do and how they leave more of the the foilage in the jungle so it looks realistic...

Well, Micechat just gave a list of what has been found in the Rivers! Sucks to be one who lost a cell phone.

Here are some of the other items found:

Half of a canoe from Davy Crockettâ€™s Explorer Canoe ride.
Plastic swords.
Mardi Gras beads. The items were part of Tianaâ€™s Showboat Jubilee, a show on the Mark Twain Riverboat on the rivers in the fall.
Hundreds of cellular phones and walkie-talkies.
Hundreds of baby pacifiers.
Mickey Hats.
Sunglasses.

If you read the full article and the comments on the bottom of the page, you'll see where it was said that the half of a canoe was actually a canoe from the old Indian Village. (Of course, none of us will know for sure...people will say anything you know

If its to be believed, a CM once told me that found some dentures when they cleaned out the coins one time from a fountain.

One of the comments mentioned dentures and Splash Mountain.

Being that I worked in a theme park, I really would not be surprised as to the items found. Nor would I put it past anyone to tell a tall tale or two

I believe so. They should be filling them up sometime this week unless they have been doing so already.

The Rivers of America are filling up nicely. The water's a nice color for once! No more of that murky green. I hope they change it up a certain amount of years to avoid getting the green again unless they're going for that to hide the track.
