The thing that got me is that it wasn't just the crowd that was bad, but the fact that everyone was crowded onto Main Street and the hub was full of media. Admittedly, the photos I got of the security lines stretched all the way back into Downtown Disney (and filling the trams stops) and the esplanade complete full of people were pretty amazing.

Actually I have been to Disneyland on New Years a couple of times- and that's just as bad.

Yeah, everyone was upset that the media had those huge tents and basically blocked the way of the guests. They had their day on the 4th, it was our turn.

Only special day I've ever gone on was Halloween one year. They didn't do anything special from what I remember except release a bunch of crows to fly over the park at some point.

i know its a bit late but 05/05/05 was the General Election in the UK.

Labour won with 65% majority

05/05/05 was the date of my wedding. (we almost put golden mickey ears on)
