Does anyone know when this "kaleidoscope journey of music, animation, special effects and, of course color!" begins???

The opening date they have planned is sometime in late spring of this year. So far they have no official date. I'm googling around and I see nothing but keep an eye out on the DCA Expansion/Overhaul thread in this section. I'll keep you guys as updated as possible.

I have heard rumblings recently that June 1, 2010 will be the opening night.

According to Al Lutz, June 10th is looking like a media night with soft opening performances still up in the air, but rumored to be as early as mid-may.

This is the latest I've heard and thought I'd share it here.

I am very depressed! The biggest anticipated event at my favorite place to be is happening on my birthday...and I can't be there!!!!! What a birthday present! I have to wait til July to see the show.

From the time the rumblings were talking about the 11th as a start date, my heart sank...knowing I wouldn't be able to pull it together to go...oh well. So I wait til July and refrain from checking out YouTube until then...

But I'm glad they finally released the date so there's no more speculation!

Yeah, it can be a belated present. I have never been on my birthday...we've gone for DH's birthday several times, but one of these years I would like to go get the free bag of tortillas.

This year would have been perfect! *SIGH*...oh well...I can always "tap the knob 3 times and give a quarter turn..."

Bummer, my friend is going there in late May for their first trip to Disneyland (Been to WDW many times). I was hoping for a full report. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed for a soft open.

Ok, I just watched a video of a test done on April 2, and I have to change my earlier statement. This looks wayyyyyyyyyy better then Fantasmic. Unbelieveable colors and huge water jets.
