I got a question.
Are all the rides up and running? like the new space mountain and BTMR? last year they were both closed, I already know why space mountain was closed. What about the people mover? Did they open that up again and also the sub ride, I heard they were going to open that up as a Finding Nemo Ride.
Can any of you tell me what is new and what is all in Disneyland this yr.
I am going this summer around July.
Thanks.

Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Here are two of the best *besides* disneyland.com:
http://www.riderefurbs.com/
http://www.visionsfantastic.com/refurbishments.html
Beware of trying to go right around July 17th. Very busy that day.
BTMRR is open. People Mover is gone for good. Sub Ride will open around 2006/2007 as a finding Nemo ride. Also, there is a new Buzz Lightyear ride that just opened. You might be interested to know that they tore out the Country Bear Jamboree and put a Pooh ride in its place.

Yeah, I loved it too. Go to yesterland.com and look up rocket rods. Since you were unaware that people mover is gone, you might want to read up on the rocket rods which were built on the people mover track, but were taken out after only a short time.borjoyzee wrote:to bad that they took the people mover down for good, that was a fun ride to relax in while strolling around tomorrowland and parts of fantasyland.

I remember when they were testing that rocket rod ride, I was like I wonder that is going to be but I never got to ride it. I would like to see the people mover bring back to life again.
They might put it back up, they still have the track laying around the park still.

Walt was always one to showcase new and upcoming technology. That was the whole point of tomorrowland. They should think of new types of transportation for the future. Something like in the incredibles on the island. It already exists, they just need to partner with the company that builds it or work out some type of agreement. http://www.skywebexpress.com/

Eh, you didn't miss much. Think of it as a faster People Mover, with a long wait time.borjoyzee wrote:I remember when they were testing that rocket rod ride, I was like I wonder that is going to be but I never got to ride it.
I miss People Mover too

I can only remember some of the closed rides only once or twice...I rode the Sub Voyage twice, people mover maybe 3 times, skyway cabin probably about 5 times because I was scared to ride matterhorn and I wanted to see the snowman...
Playing tag should be permitted on Tom Sawyer's Island so the guards would stop yelling at me.
