On my last visit to DL during Halloween, I noticed several missing pieces on Pirate's. I have been on that ride so many times I usually notice if a coin is out of place.

After the drops, the beach seen was missing ALL crabs and one bird. There used to be animatronic crabs on the beach.

Pirate on the bridge!!?? What!.... the dirty barefooted bottle totting dude was missing. I could not believe it. I starting questioning myself on whether or not it even existed.

treasure room has additional items. I cant put my finger on it but things look different.

Anyone else notice this back in OCT? Have they been replaced since then?

We noticed this too...mainly because I always react to him (either waving a hand in front of my nose ala smelly feet or pretending to tickle his foot)

Anyone know if he's back yet?

I've seen that happen at WDW before - an audio-animatronic goes missing. I think when one breaks down, instead of closing the whole ride, they just remove the broken item to be repaired and replaced back later when working. I think DL did that with the hallway knight in the HM there for a while...

The last time I was at DL the guy on the bridge wasn't there either.

Every time I go there, there are some animatronics out for rehab. The last time I went one of the cats was missing. For the longest time the dog that was singing with the three pirates and the donkey was missing too.

My friends and I went and the Donkey was gone too! Then we went again some time later and the donkey was back. We all totally cheered in the boat. Lol. I have a feeling people wanted away from us after that Lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! I don't recall if the donkey was there the last time or not.

I was there in late December and I went on Pirates and I recall seeing both the donkey and the dog there.

The Character on the bridge with the hairy leg has been gone since the beginning of September at the least. He was missing when I went right after labor day. They must be completely rebuilding it, or they lost it in an Intramural envelope.

I thought that only happened when somebody's boat got stopped too long in "It's A Small World."
