Ghost Galaxy

Post by MmeLeota » Sep Fri 25, 2009 6:48 pm

I know today is the first day of HalloweenTime at Disneyland, and anyone who can answer this question is probably still there...but

Has anyone experienced Ghost Galaxy yet? I am very curious about it, and I probably won't make it to the park this year to see it.

(plus I'm a fraidy cat and would probably get spooked by it anyway) :)

Went on it yesterday. It was sweet. I loved it. My wife was screaming nearly the whole time. It may be a little scary for some smaller children.

That looks really cool. It's been too long since I've been to Disneyland. Does anyone know how long the overlay is going to last?

I asked a CM yesterday and he said he was not sure how long it would last but he thought through Christmas possibly.

I think it's for however long the Halloween decorations are up so before they start putting up everything for Christmas.

God, I hope to get on this as it's my favorite ride at Disneyland!

Wow!! Looks awesome! Next year when I make it DL for the first time I'll be sure to plan my trip around this (hopefully Ghost Galaxy will be up next year too!)!

It sure was popular the first day. Fast passes ran out within 4 hours of Disneyland opening on Friday. Then the wait in the regular line was at least 70 minutes the whole day.

I'm going to see if I'll be able to go on Tuesday with my mom but I have yet to talk about it with her. I did mention to my stepdad it would be easier to go right when the park opens if we go on Saturday.

This looks amazing! I hope I can make it next year to see it in person. Does anyone know if the soundtrack will be made available on a CD?

I doubt it since Rockin' Space Mountain hasn't been made onto a CD as far as I know.

I went Saturday and i really loved it. It is very different from the kind of halloween you expect from Disney . I heard from a cast member friend of mine they almost closed park on friday because of the capacity of people they had . The wait time at 9pm for space mountain on Friday was 2 hrs . I went on Saturday at around 3ish and it was only 50 minutes!!I went on and a cast member was sitting behind me and he told me this ghost galaxy was tried out at the hong kong or tokyo disney( i can't remember which so maybe the music might be on one of their soundtracks for the park. I think they did this type on space mountain maybe to try to get a little smattering of the knotts scary farm teens. :)
