Favorite Mountain Attraction.

The Battle of the Mountains is underway at the resort. Not all of these attractions look like mountains, or have "mountain" in the title, but they are considered mountains.

Space Mountain. I can't wait to ride this when it opens. It gives me another reason to visit on July 17th besides getting free golden mickey ears!

I don't know which one is my favorite. It's between either Space Mountain or Splash Mountain. Space is cool because, duh it's in space, and the music(back when it had it) really made all the difference. But i also like Splash because you can talk to your friends on it, and plan cheesy poses for the camera. I'll post my vote later, maybe.

Hmm, but in the other thread I voted for Thunder Mountain as my favorite ride.

Alwasy tough to choose favs with such good choices... I'm torn between 'em - and who knows, with the "new" Space Mtn coming soon it might be my new fav [I already liked the DL one better than the WDW version...]

What are the differences between the Disneyland Space Mountain and the WDW one? The only difference I coud think of is the double-track thing.

Space Mountain defines Tomorrowland and has been and always will be my favorite. I'm looking forward to the update. I'll be there on July 17th to ride it! 8)

I voted Splash, but that could just be because I almost never got to ride it as a kid (my mom's scared to death of it), so now I'm building it up in my head to be better than it is.

Seating style is different. DLR is side-by-side, WDW is in-line. Of course the tracks are different layouts. The spaceship is in the station at DLR while you see the spaceship on the lift at WDW. WDW doesn't have to weigh the rockets before entering the mountain.

Having only been to Disneyland in Anaheim, I had to go with Matterhorn. I like that it is both outdoors and "indoors". Good theme. And good, but quick views.

Thunder is good, but every time you turn around, you're climbing another hill (three of them?)

Space had good ambiance in the 80s-90s, and the ride was great, but... meh.

When I was younger, I was too chicken to ride it just because I would always hear that roar of the abominable snowman yeti creature thing, and it would scare the poop outta me. So instead I would ride the Skyway to try and get a glimpse of it.

Then I got over it, and from then on the Matterhorn was my favorite. But then I discovered Space Mountain...

I think the Matterhorn if for anything the nostalgia of it - first time I rode it as a kid was with my grandmother, who is has since passed away. Brings back fond memories.

I didn't know that Indy was a mountain.
I'm stuck between space and splash. But I chose space because I never saw america sings and I really don't get what the story is on splash.

I am going with Space, cause its fast and in the dark. I like Splash too it comes in a close second, the bobsleds are 3rd, but it is the most nostalgic out of all of them for me. Just like Lays potato chips, its hard to pick just one!
