I'm stuck between space and splash. But I chose space because I never saw america sings and I really don't get what the story is on splash.

Story on Splash...I thought it was just Brer Rabbit doing this rebel teenager thing and trying to find the 'laughing place' but all the while there's still no place like home.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad all the way. Matterhorn is a close second. The fact that space mountain is indoors and dark lowers the enjoyment for me.

So, why did you choose space mountain if it's not your favorite mountain, much less your favorite attraction? Just wondering...

Being that it is reopening for th 50th I thought it would be cool. If you notice the image is linked to the Disneyland web site -- I browsed the site looking for images that worked for my avatar and it was either this or Indy.

I wish these forums allowed me to upload an image vs. linking to one.

what attraction are you looking for for an avatar? I can find/get you just about anything you need, and you can link to it directly from my photobucket album.

And, to get this thread back on topic, I like Splash Mountain or Space Mountain at WDW...

Awesome! Thanks. Avatar updated!

BTW, what is the web site where you got this image from:

If I recall the web site author has drawn out the paths of all the DL rides.

I just did a search for Splash Mountain on Google Images and this is one that came up. I didn't even look at the websites these pics came from (besides the Misc pic, that's from Disney.com financial report page).

But, in any case, the link places the pic orginating on this page dedicated to SpM and Song of the South.

How weird, I was going to say the BTMR train one was the coolest. Nice choice!

Thanks. Yeah the BTMR engine is a good one!

For those interested, here is the link to the site that has hand-drawn (and some computer/aerial) pictures of different DL/WDW rides. Kinda a neat site:

Space mountain, but can we really say that? We don't know exactly what the new space is going to be like. It's currently out of commission for another 2 months, so do we pick an interim one?
Playing tag should be permitted on Tom Sawyer's Island so the guards would stop yelling at me.
