Summer Nightastic

Has anyone seen the 3 updated features? I was there July 6th and 7th. We were able to see The Electrical Parade (loved the new additions) and the Fireworks. (Disappointing - no Tinkerbell or Dumbo.)

We never made to Fantasmic. Anybody else?

Went opening weekend. Saw fireworks which was good. Loved the Dumbo puppet flying. Saw Fantasmic, but the new dragon was broke and was not used in the show.

I went "opening night" and there was no Dumbo. I went again and he was in the show.

A week later I went to see Fantasmic, but the dragon has been broken. Flotsam and Jetsam and the new Croc were working.

Still need to see the Electrical Parade. Oh, and they made some enhancements to Pixie Hollow for the night. That is worth stopping and watching!

By the way, I think there's some other threads with all this info.

Anyone know if the dragon is now working or not? I've seen the new fireworks, but I want to see the new dragon. I may go just for Flotsam/Jetsam and the new croc, but having the new dragon working as well would be icing on the cake.

Dragon's still not working, as far as I know. I've heard that Flotsam and Jetsam are down for a few days too. Might want to wait until September.

The dragon has been fixed physically, but the programming is starting now and that will be at least 2 weeks to do, so look for the dragon to join the fantasmic show in late august. This is all really speculation honestly because if the programming doesn't go so well the dragon will be delayed longer, and Fantasmic is supposed to go dark for two months for a rehab after labor day, due to the massive amount of maintenance it needs that it wasn't able to do during the last, due to the last rehab being shortened during the Spring. So if the dragon isn't fixed by then it won't seen by the public until November.

As for Flotsam and jetsam, or flotsam and jetski as they are nicked named by Entertainment Department, have been down for a week or two now, not sure if they are back up, but one of them ran into one of the pyrotechnic boxes around the Rivers of America. No damage was done but they stopped running them until they could figure out how to get them around the river without incident. The current fix that is being tested after hours is using nightvision cameras and screen for the drivers.

I went this past Monday and saw the Flotsam and Jetsam going by. It was my first time seeing them there so it was interesting.

There is some information on the dragon from one of the recent Micechat posts located here: http://miceage.micechat.com/allutz/al072809a.htm

I went last week and yes the dragon is broken and it was disappointing. The witch on the tower and the flames just wasn't working for me. Also I overheard a cast member telling someone that they thought it would be September before the new dragon would be back.

There's been speculation that it may come back sometime this month but I'm not getting anyone's hopes up with it.

I was just about to post that! You stole my job! jk jk

I'm going to post it in the other main thread it's apart of since it'll involve the DCA construction too.
