A New Fantasmic

Guests will find new thrills at the popular Fantasmic! on the Rivers of America in Frontierland. The evil Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty transforms into a 40-foot tall, fire-breathing dragon. Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid introduces her pet eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, who slither into the show with new power. In addition, the Fantasmic! video projections practically leap off the giant mist screens, thanks to HD (high-definition) technology â€¦ (in this case, HD takes on a new meaning - Huge Dragon).

This sounds awesome I can't wait to see it! We always go in March for a week. We/ll have to go during the summer now. It seems like it would be alot more exciting now! I love the Electrical Parade.

The whole Summer Nightastic looks great - it makes me wonder how much will continue into Fall. Can't wait for more updates!

I'm really looking forward to Fantasmic this summer. I haven't watched the show in a long time, but with the new HD screens and the new additions, it'll be great.

I went 3-4 weeks ago and the dragon was broken, so when the evil step mother fought Mickey, she just stood up on the raised pillar and waived her wand around...I was very disappointed since that was the only reason I went that night. I haven't heard since whether they've fixed it or not.

It wasn't as of about two weeks ago. :-/ I was really hoping to see it, since I was there with a visitor all the way from New York! And this weekend my mom and stepdad and little brother will all be out in CA to visit Disney, and I will be disappointed again if it's just Malefecent flailing her arms atop a platform again.

Yep just went a few ago too. and she was still on a pillar. The rest of the show is amazing like usual. thats why it's been around so long. But the dragon finale was a bit disapointing without a dragon. I'm sure all the dudes at diseny are trying there hardest to get it back up. The advertisements have taken the dragon out though. from what iv'e seen. yikes! It might be awhile before its back and functioning fully.
