Mr. Toads Wild Ride and Winnie the Pooh ride question.

As most of you know I have not been to Disneyland. As a WDW Mr. Toads Wild Ride fan (R.I.P.) I was wondering if it is still there at DL? I've heard that it is and is not, so I'm very confused.

I've also heard that the Pooh ride is also there but it replaced Mr. Toad(?) or Country Bears. Which is it?

Thanks in advance!

Mr. Toads is still there and I love it. Winnie the Pooh did replace Country Bears and I hate that. Country Bears should have stayed.

^ What she said. Both are there and most of us are still sad that the Country Bears have been replaced by Winnie.

Thanks for your replies. I know how you feel. They got rid of Mr. Toad for Pooh... They even have a picture of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to the building in owls home. But head over to the Haunted Mansion and you will see that Pooh really killed Mr. Toad as he is in the Pet Cemetery!!! Well, at least I can still enjoy Mr. Toad when I go... eventually.

Thanks again!!!

Is there a picture of that? I would love to see what's written on the epitaph.

There should be some out there but I don't know if there is an epitaph or not. I'll check and let you know.

Just a statue of Mr. Toad:

Poor Mr. Toad. It's a shame that they don't have it in WDW but hey, let's hope DLR will keep it in the years to come.

I definitely agree with that. The Winnie the Pooh ride is way to psychedelic for my liking!

My guess is that they used the psychedelic colors for if they do it in the dark. I've never been on the ride so I don't know how it's like.

I think maybe they used the psychedelic colors becuase i always kind of thought how similar the heffalumps and woozles scene is like the pink elephants scene in dumbo-which happens after he has a drink... i think the Pooh attraction could have been better i too miss the country bears( one of my favourite disney park songs is "all they guys that turn me on turn me down " was in there ) and i hope they do not get rid of mr Toad!!!!when i have gone to the park there is always a line so hopefully they will not get rid of it

That particular section of the winnie the pooh ride is during the Heffalumps and woozles section, everything is bright and psychadellic and, well, heffalumpy! The rest of the ride is in the regular colors though ;)

I'll voice the minority opinion. I hate CBJ. Nothing makes me happier on DL's Pooh than turning around in the last room and seeing the Bears stuffed on the wall above the door - silent.

One of the things I enjoyed at DL was that dark rides, Mr Toads, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland & Snow White are all still there and I pray they NEVER close them! At 51 I still LOVE to ride those rides.

Mr Toad always has a decent amount of people riding it all day long, and is an important part of the "dark rides". I hope they never consider taking it out of DL.
