Hey, my family is coming down next month and my mom is thinking of trying out this software called Ride Max that allows you to save time while at Disneyland (and WDW). I guess it calculates your day depending on which rides you want to do so you will spend minimal time in line. Has anyone heard of or tried this software that could tell me if it's worth it? It's about $15 for a three month subscription and there's a money back guarantee so I guess it's worth a try. I was just curious if anyone here had tried it before.

The program is popular over at mouseplanet, but I think its somewhat unnecessary--especially since you have "experts" here who could help you out.

1. It's summer, it's going to be hotter than hell and everything gets crowded. Take advantage of air conditioning and plan things around the weather. Be sure to drink lots of water, wear your sunblock, and if possible take an afternoon break back at the hotel in the hottest part of the day.

2. Hit fantasyland first thing in the morning, it's one of your only opportunities at semi-short lines for your favorites like Peter Pan.

3. Rides like haunted mansion and pirates inhale a lot of people! Don't be intimidated by long lines on high-volume rides, they will move much faster than you think. There will always be somewhat of a line on them. Plus, with them being longer rides, it makes sense to hit these in the afternoon and take advantage of the killer A/C

4. Plan your meals off-peak hours if you can. Eat lunch a little early, or dinner a little late. It will expediate the whole process.
