I wish Disneyland a Happy Birthday as well. I'm headed over there in a few minutes, in fact.

Many happy returns of the day, Disneyland! You'll never be finished, as long as there's imagination left in the world.

3 years ago I was there - running down Main Street while the Cast Members stood outside the shops and greeted us all with "Welcome Home!" Good times!

Me too! Well, it was a little uneventful this year. They were selling prints and a sculpture and you could have all of them signed by the artists. That was about it. Mouseplanet.com had a Mini Mouse Adventure and were giving away free buttons.
I've been to the park at obscure anniversaries before and they had special merchandise event stuff like you went around with a passport to all of the mountains and when you got them all stamped you got a bunch of pins. Oh, well. Just looking forward to the next big anniversary!

Happy Birthday to our Disneyland. I'm glad I managed to go to the Year of a Million Dreams when it was still new.
