How cool would this be?

Post by bamato » Jun Thu 26, 2008 11:08 am

I mentioned in an older post about the queue for space mountain looking like a big open stage and such. So as I listened to SR this morning to some sort of drum solo I realized something... How awsome would it be to have a cool band like Blue Man Group play in tomorrowland?? It would obviously have to be impersonators or something because that would cost Disney A LOT of money to have the real Blue Man Group. But it would seem to go with the theme of tomorrowland pretty well I think. They are almost alien looking, and their music is very cool and futuristic. And combine their talent with a good Disney light show and you have a sweet experience. What do ya think?

Very cool idea. Almost like Jamminators but with a different twist. :)

That would be neat to see. I have enjoyed their music whenever I see them on tv so that would be something awesome for Space Mountain to have.

I wouldn't say stingy, more or less precise about where they place their investments. :P

would be awesome.. I saw the blueman group in toronto... great show! want to see it again!

Only problem is that blue man group is already over at Universal Studios... so it'd never happen...

Also, if it were something that could happen, I don't think it'd be as expensive as you think. There is not just one blue man group, there are several. I belive they have 5 different shows setup worldwide. Each show has their own cast. So it's not like there is just one group of 3 ppl out there.
