Music CD kiosks?

I'm so sorry if this is dumb question, but I hope someone could humor me with an answer :mickey:

Do those Disneyland Forever kiosks where you can make your own custom "DL soundtrack" still exist? If so, where?

The last time I was at DL was 10 years ago (I live in Singapore), and I'm going to DL again next week (Anaheim)... so it's been hard for me to keep "in the loop"

I believe they've all been removed. Both the WDW and DL versions.

I wish they were still around, for sure. There are so many incredible tracks from those selections. :(

very true. i still have three discs we made there. The great thing about the kiosks is that my family always bought a cd every time we went because you could customize it (this was when we were going about once-three times a year). outside of the Disneyland Forever custom cds we never bought a cd outside of the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Main Street Electrical Parade anniversay discs, which were limited edition. I forgot their reasoning for removing them, but I think it was a space and resource issue :(

That would have been awsome!! My own compilation of Disney music! Did they have ride music too? Or was it just Disney movie music?

It was actually almost entirely Park music. I'm sure that a lot of the tracks you hear on Susbonic actually came from the Disneyland Forever Kiosks. They were organized by land and then by ride and you could get a ton of tracks (although no where near the quality and quantity you get to experience everyday at SR :)).

I would just love to be able to hear them in my car when I drove :)

If only subsonic had XM or Serius channels ;) :P

I remember going to a kiosk located in Tomorrowland and selecting a bunch of the ride music from Haunted Mansion and Pirates. I wish they still had those kiosks. It was great for individuals who lived a great distance from Disneyland because you could pop in the CD and it felt like you were back at the park. :mickey:

I know the wdw ones were removed some years ago - mainly because they were unreliable and always out of order - not sure about disneyland ones though?

YOU SAID IT!!! I loved the ability to get old attraction soundtracks. It brought back so many memories. I wish they would bring it back.

Last fall (2007) I was in Dsineyland and the cast member at the Music Store on Main Street said they were taken out due to too many technical difficulties, breakdowns, etc.
