Grand Opening Problems
Does anyone know the problems that occured when Disneyland first opened in 1955? I know things like food shortages and not enought bathrooms occured.

I don't think they expected such a crowd for the opening! The parade was done with characters from the Disney On Ice show. And I know there were more small glitches here and there but even after all of that it still made it

Yeah, from what I understand it was meant for press and special guests only, but a bunch of people made up fake passes to get in, hence the crowds. I've never heard about Disney On Ice, though. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that the poll/topic don't quite match up. Had to do a double take at first.
