Any annual passholders here?

Post by acgonzales » Feb Fri 29, 2008 11:02 am

Hello Everyone, just became a Premium annual passholdholder last month and I was kind of curious as to how many of you passholders go to DLR during the year? Do you go every weekend or every week? I usually go every Saturday or every other Friday that I have off. It's funny because now I go for a quick fix for a couple of hours and then I go home. Sometimes I will only go at night just to see the fireworks or MSEP and then go home? What do you all do or what is it about the park that you love to do if you go all the time? :)

I don't have an AP right now, though I've been thinking about getting one. I work close to the Park, and I thought it might be nice to stop by after work on Fridays. Do you find you actually use your pass enough to make it pay?

Last year I got the "Play 4 Days" ticket from Costo and used all four days, but that's a different mindset than the AP (which is more "go for a few hours then go home" than "okwehaveaticketandwehavetogoneverythingtoday!").

I have a deluxe AP, but I live somewhat further away than most AP holders do (Pennsylvania). But I tend to go about 2 -3 times during each AP cycle (within the year I have to use the AP). I would however love to go every week or so if I were living close enough. But for right now I am stuck here

I have a premium pass but I haven't gone since last month. When we got them in December, we went at least seven times as far as I can remember.

The thread entitled "Your Local Tour Guides" has much of this information in it as well.

I've been an AP for 3 (4?) years now, and I don't get to go as often as I'd like to. I used to be down there about once a month but school and work and real life got in the way. At the same time, it's nice to take a break so I can get excited about the parks again :)

the master of understatement, the good Doctor. I have an AP, and go about once every month or so. We're down in San Diego, and are constantly swamped with work and don't have too much free time, but when we can get a day in we head up. :D

I'm an APer, about 45 min away with no traffic. I go about every 2 months, sometimes more. I remember when I was 18, I bought my first pass, nobody had them then. This was 16 years ago!

Since then I have worked at the Disney Store, at Disneyland, and have been an APer for about 6 years now.

Being and Annual Pass Holder is nice. We go a few times a year for a couple days at a time. Main reason is because we like Disneyland and the cost savings is significant.

Only drawback is you don't get a few early entries with the pass. Thus when our pass expires, we wait until the next time we go buy the 3 Day Hopper for the early entry then upgrade on our last day of the pass. :goofy_bounce:

People at work or my family think that I am a total fanatic and dont see what is it about Disneyland that I would go all the time. I grew up with Disney and have been going to Disneyland since I was a baby! I guess you can say Disneyland to me is like my home away from home so now that I have my AP and I can go anytime I want is like a total dream come true for me! My son is now picking up on the Disneyland lingo and certain things that us APers look out for like new things added to attractions and so forth...
