Awesome! What a great opportunity, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the report and see the pictures.

Saw the interior last night, and it looks so much more open now that the wall is gone. The setup where you get the food and then pay is much more efficient in my opinion, especially since the employees deal with a lot less paper.

I went to Disneyland this last Tuesday when it opened. They gave us a 40% dicount which I wasn't expecting. So I thought that was nice of DIsneyland. Don't know if they are still doing this. The interor looks very nice. The menu seems different, I had a delicious salad.

Is there any other facility in the park it can be compared to? I am interested in what they have done but have some old standards when I go to the park.

Well the interior can't compare to any other eatery but the food can be. When I went I had the Rosemary Turkey Breast Salad, because they were only serving the salads, desserts, and drinks. ALL WAS FREE!!! HAHAHA If you ever get a chance to be the ginny pig DO IT. I had a free $13 entree, $6 cheesecake, $2.50 drink (Coke), a $2 Milk (to wash the cheesecake down), Oh and I also got a fruit cup too. That is kind of the reason My brother and I went back to the hotel......too MUCH food.
The menu is pretty nice from what I saw, it still has a big breakfast spread, not a buffet but it is still more in one serving than I can handle.
The lunch diner menu has:
River Belle Prime Rib $12.99
Mississippi Turkey Breast $12.99
Tennessee BBQ Pork $11.99
Vegetable Po' Boy $11.99
Salads:
Prime Rib Salad $12.99
Rosemary Turkey Breast Salad $12.99
Aunt Polly's Harvest Medley $11.99 (have no Idea what this is)
Kids Meals:
Little Carver's Turkey Sandwich $5.99
Little Carver's Prime Rib Sandwich $5.99
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich $5.99
As long as my AP gets me discounts here I will continue to eat here. The look of the place is great, the food was/is pretty good. I would suggest at least trying it once to.
P.S. Pictures still to come, I didn't have enough hard drive space but I got a nice set of HD's for x-mas and I'm able to upload them to the computer to work on them.

It always makes me happy when Disneyland spuces up something old and makes it like brand new again.

If I remember right, this was one of the few restaurants that served breakfast. But that was like 15 years ago. Do they serve breakfast now that it has reopened?
