One can only hope. I haven't heard much about them tending to the track but if they do bring back the PeopleMover, they'll have to restore the old track piece by piece since the Rocket Rods have ruined it.mommyfor2 wrote:Bring back the peoplemover. They could do that, as the track isn't being used for anything, it's just sitting there. For me the empty track is a distracting feature of Tomorrowland. Any one else agree?

not only would they need to update the track, they would also need to redesign the cars. due to a couple of laws that were changed in 2001 (I think, it could have been earlier than that), the original cars are now illegal or something. if they would have kept them instead of making Rocket Rods, they would have been Grandfathered in. like the TTA at WDW is.

It is true, the California Amusement Park commission are the ones behind the new Monorails having bad windows and the Mickey's fun wheel having a fine chain link fencing around the gondolas. I have read about the rules on Miceage.com when they did their reports on the Monorails. They think that everyone is bent on throwing themselves off of things at great heights.....or even ground level ones.elizabethswann wrote:
Whoa, whoa, are you serious? That's crazy! Do you have a link to a report on this?

Wow, I didn't know that. They kind of sound like my grandfather who is overly cautious and such.Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:It is true, the California Amusement Park commission are the ones behind the new Monorails having bad windows and the Mickey's fun wheel having a fine chain link fencing around the gondolas. Well, even though I haven't been there in a bunch of years as I now live in FLorida, the ones I always missed the most were American Sings, and the Skyway buckets. In high school we used to continuously ride the Adventures of Inner Space when we went on dates. It was dark and long. Geeeeeze hadn't thought about that one in a while!
