I think when I hear the tracks from the Matterhorn because it was the 1st thing we saw off Katella when we got close to the park. Back in the day before Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, the Matterhorn was the 1st ride we ran to when we got to the park I know it's not really a "song" per say but it's what makes me think of DL!

For me it would be the entire Splash Mountain soundtrack, including area music. It's my favorite ride. I love hearing the music, it makes me feel like I am there when I'm not.
And yes I am aware it isn't "original"
So for original I'll say "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me" and the entire music from Pirates. Again the area music and the rest of it makes me feel like I am there when I'm not.

Definitely Pirates
My favorite is totally the Pirates of the Carribean track. I love the whole thing because it is so realistic and every time I listen to it, I feel like I am there.
I also love Frontier Land area music. I love that time period.

I have to say the old Space Mountain soundtrack with all the cool surf/Dick Dale typa' stuff. How could NOT love Grim Grinning Ghosts and the Tiki Room music too?
I think I just love it all. Those are my faves though

Dick Dale's Space Mountain was a perfect match for the ride I think. I hope they bring it back (along with an open queue instead of the closed in one they now have). Miss that one so muchWishUponaStar wrote:I have to say the old Space Mountain soundtrack with all the cool surf/Dick Dale typa' stuff.

'Small world' but probably because it's a classic rather than because I would listen to it. In fact I can't listen to it because it is annoying - but still my fav
In the UK the song is so typically associated with Disney and the USA that I managed to convince my class of music students that 'It's a Small World' is a traditional American folk tune

Re: What is your favorite Original Song from Disneyland???
It's a toss up for me between Yo Ho a Pirate's life for me and Small World. Those were my two favorite rides when I was a kid, and today when I go back on those rides, they always bring back great memories.

I'd have to say tiki room or pirates life for me
