For me it would have to be "how do you do" and the whole splash mountain soundtrack. Such a great ride with great audio...it always puts me in a good mood.

The original Disneyland for me would be the 1970's Disneyland. That would have me about 6 to 10 years old. I would say it would be the It's a Small World area music, along the the quarter-hour clock show. That to me meant we were AT Disneyland. Nothing but good memories, thoughts, and feelings.

EDIT: Oops! I read the topic as your favorite song from the original Disneyland. If my answer doesn't make any sense, that's why.

It's so hard to choose a favorite as each song is special (at least to me) in it's own way. How do you do from splash mountain is so much fun, as is the Grim Grinning Ghosts from haunted mansion. Those along with It's a small world are great reminders of Disneyland

Hmm, if parades and shows count, then Fantasmic! I really love that song.

If not, then Grim Grinning Ghosts- it's just an awesome classic that's fun to sing along with.

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Mine's kind of a Disneyland original, but it would probably be the King Arthur's Carousel track. Even though it's just music from the movies put together, the calliope presentation is what makes it a Disneyland original for me.
I'm surprised that no one had mentioned A Pirate's Life For Me yet. It would be my second choice. Is that not an original track? :?

I wouldn't count Splash Mountain songs as Origianl Songs from Disneyland. From what I remember, those songs came from Song of the South.

For me it's probably "Yo Ho, Yo Ho (A Pitare's Life For Me)", but the Peoplemover soundtrack and the Bear Country Area theme music are also great.

Hi folks. I may have said this before elsewhere but for me it has to be the MSEP theme "Baroque Hoedown". Just the way the song was written and utilized all these years reminds me of how 'original' Disneyland is. Also, I think the Peoplmover music should be noted for it's mellow effect on anyone who rode it. Yes some might say that it was TOO mellow, but then again that's what Disneyland is supposed to do; relax you, right?

Sadly, I think Baroque Hoedown was not a park originalL

But it is my personal all time favorite song in the parks, great choice!

we tend not to trust things on Wikipedia, based on this thread. As Wiki can be updated by ANYONE, you could be getting false information.

but, I agree about the Baroque Hoedown being one of my favorites. Grim Grinning Ghosts and Pirates Life For Me are also way up there..

I woke up in the middle of the night and realized I had forgot to mention The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room as a favorite. Oops.
