Hi again folks. I guess for me Big Thunder gets the top vote. Maybe it's the quickness of the ride or the 'rustic' theming and scenery but for being in such a small space it really delivers. Also Splash Mountain gets a close second for its combining of animatronic storytelling as well as the thrill factor. Always the mark of great creativity. Until later, peace.

For me it's Space Mountain, but to be more specific, the one at Disneyland Paris. OK, it's rather bumpy in places, but it's still my favourite of the two Space Mountains that I've been on (DLRP and WDW)

Had to pick Splash myself. While I like the visual of Grizzly Mountain, and The special place that Matterhorn Holds, as for the actual ride experience, Splash...

Captain Hook: So, you want a splash, Mr Starkey? I'll give you a splash!

Gosh, that's a tough one. Big Thunder nearly won out (my friend and I once went on it 10 times within an hour), but I've got to say that Space Mountain, with it's new design and construction, is almost as perfect as any coaster could hope to be. I took the BF to Disneyland for the first time (he'd only been to WDW before that), and he had to go on Space Mountain three times - he kept commenting about how there was no "cookies" on DL's version (that is, the chocolate chip cookie images that are projected on the inside walls of the WDW version to signify galaxies).

Even though it has scarred me for life - Matterhorn is the best! I still remember being 9 years old, strapped in, ready to go and I freaked out on my Dad and had to get out. That freaking monster does it! Even now as a 30 year old adult, I close my eyes every time we rush past the monster! I know it's a stupid Audio-Animatronic - That evil roar stays with you for life! I still love it though - I guess I'm a Masochist!

then don't ride Expedition Everest if you visit WDW. the Yeti there is 3 times as large/scary (if not moreso).faxprincess wrote:Even though it has scarred me for life - Matterhorn is the best!
