I have to say it really was AWESOME! I actually rode it three times during our trip. Thanks everyone for you input and encouragement. :D
Rockin'! (Like Bon Jovi circa 1986)...

For most rides that cause fear (versus illness), it's the initial anticipation of the event and not the actual event, that is the problem.

For ToT, it was the sitting in the shaft waiting to drop that was the worst for me until I'd done it.

We have a launch coaster something like Aerosmith at our local theme park (but it just launches forward, loops and goes backwards to do it again). Worst part of that ride of me is always sitting on the train as they count down to launch (3... 2... 1...) I feel sick to my stomache until we're finally going.

I love tower of terror. I like the storyline and the actual drop part of the ride doesn't last for long if you don't like that sort of thing.

Way to go! I'm glad you finally tried it! :D I think the worst part is the anticipation...just waiting for that dang elevator to drop!

-you're going to have to make it a bit bigger; they've actually got them here. And they're not made of plastic - Eddie Izzard

I love TOT but my son refuses to go on it. I won't force him to go on it. (Even though I know he would Love it) I guess what I will have to do is have him go to DCA with a bunch of friends. When they go on it, he will decide to try it because he would not want to be known as the scaredy cat of the group. This way, I don't look like the bad guy.
