I was at DCA and managed to get a nice photo of the fountain. This is a large photo since it's from my iPhone.

That's really pretty :D Is it in a good spot to watch the parades from?

I wouldn't know! I was only at DCA for a little while and only reached the fountain on my way out.

But while I'm at it, I have the latest Micechat report. I didn't even get a chance to see the new Ghiradelli but there will be a next time.

Latest Micechat post: Ghirardelli opens, Buena Vista details, Play Parade returns, Cove Bar changes, etc.

It's along the parade route I think, but no idea if they are going to seal if off or not.

That is interesting that they are now doing a cover charge after all this time for WoC. If it were a better view I might think it is a good spot for it.

Hmmm, I wonder if they will have very many people that don't notice the sign and are a bit upset to find the $10/person surcharge tacked on to their bill?

Probably, they can have the sign, have the server note it, have it on the menu, and still be shocked when it shows up.

There are a lot of people that book dinners at WDW at times specifically to watch various shows from that vantage point. Those are the people I'm thinking of. You wouldn't expect to have to pay a charge at a certain time is all....

I was just thinking that too. I wouldn't be surprised if all of a sudden you see "Illuminations dining" adding in a fee for the places that look out on the lagoon.

The DCA cover charge could be a test case perhaps. If they don't have too much opposition from guests, they might start thinking about adding it at WDW...

I bet the servers might have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand you keep the people from doing that thing where they sit down and dine really slow, and lounge about after the meal, ordering just enough to make it so they can't be asked to leave, meaning more people can dine/tip but at the same time people see this charge and take it out on the server's tip.

Here's a preview of Cars Land and all the attractions! There are some real great photos and there are some spoilers contained so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't look. ;)

That's going to be weird, and another non canon thing for Radiator Springs, to have Doc Hudson alive again (he apparently was offed between 1 and 2 because the actor died).

I have a feeling it won't run when it rains either, esp. since they have a worker out there under minimal cover.

Anyone else find it a little odd that they chose to show two full grown men hanging on for dear life in the picture of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree? Even they look a little embarrassed for themselves
I wonder how Luigi's is going to fly. It seemed like they had lots of problems with the flying saucers back in DL in the day. Hopefully the technology has improved a lot!

It will be a little weird but I'm hoping that they're only focusing it on after the first Cars movie since there's really no mention of Finn MacMissile or whatever the female spy car's name is.
