I always end up on the kiddie rides to finish out my trip. Normally its Pinocchio's daring Journey.
Shop till you drop... so I can ride away.
Yeah I've noticed everyone goes to the front of the park to do last minute shopping...so New Orleans is always empty.

Before kids, my last ride was always Space Mountain. Once you were done, you could loop right back into the queue without completely exiting, and ride it three of four times before they were closed. Now, with the kids, it is usually peter pan since it typically has a nasty long line during the day.

As a tradition, we always go on Peter Pan as our last attraction. Usually at that time of night, the lineup isn't as long as throughout the day. It's a nice way to end the night at DL.

I like to go on rides that give you a elevated peak of the park at night before we leave. Particulary, we like Splash Mountain at the end of the day. Gives you a couple loops outside the mountain to look over the river and park and of course the final drop. During the summer it is particularly nice to cool off before making that long walk out of the park and down Harbor Blvd. Anyway, it is not a strict tradition. We usually end up running the clock out in New Orleans and CC.

We're Peter Pan peeps, too, although it's easier to do this at WDW than DL because of fastpass.proudcanuck wrote:As a tradition, we always go on Peter Pan as our last attraction. Usually at that time of night, the lineup isn't as long as throughout the day. It's a nice way to end the night at DL.

I would say that my favorite ride to end the day would be either Indy because of the line or Matterhorn at night because the best outside ride at night would be either BTMRR or the Majestic Matterhorn!

I waited one time for Indy for at least an hour and a half later in the evening. I believe it was because people were using up their fast passes. And poor single me was stuck in the line as they had done away with the single rider lineSparten wrote:I would say that my favorite ride to end the day would be either Indy because of the line or Matterhorn at night because the best outside ride at night would be either BTMRR or the Majestic Matterhorn!
I do remember going on the Jungle Cruise after Indy and thinking it was quite a different attraction in the darkness of night!

DLR: Splash
WDW: Pan (although we always end with Philharmagic but it's not a ride)
