It's preaty easy, because all of the writing looks like english except for I which looks like an eye, and that is my favorite letter in the marabic alpabet.
Awesome.. Thanks!

Wow. I didn't realize that the Indiania Jones ride is going to be 10 years already. Time sure is flying!

puts Dinosaur to shame

Post by kgmadorin » Mar Tue 15, 2005 5:05 pm

Ten years! Wow! And to think that Countdown to Extinction (now Dinosaur) at Disney's Animal Kingdom opened three years later and can't hold a candle to Indy...

I have always heard that those two sibling attractions use an identical track layout, but are mirror opposites. Can anyone verify that?

Oh no doubt! I've done crowd control and traffic control before. Imagine trying to manuver huge asphalt paving equipment and repaving the one access road to the university sporting fields. Now imagine doing that at the same time there is a big set of NCAA champ events and your main paving machine blows the alternator out and is being nursed along by power from work trucks. Yeah - not fun, but I'm sure nothing compared to gangs of rabid Disney and Indy fans!!

working the special event was kinda fun. We ran the ride for a while, and then we shut it down and let the participants walk the track as we lead tours. It was fun. As a present to us/the guests, we got a new snake in december. His name is Spaz.

So what is it like walking the track thru the ride? Maybe it is just me but that sounds really cool. Of course, I also was excited to be able to walk the tracks of our rail line under MSP International Airport before it opened - civil engineers are kind of nerdy when it comes to stuff like that!

Walking the track through the ride sounds totally awesome! I soo want to see the behind- the -scenes stuff. Heck, even walking through the production studies on campus is exciting for me.

Denile Princess- why is his name Spaz?

I CAN!!

Although the two tracks are similar, they are not identical. The change is minor though. The Countdown to Extinction track is slightly smaller than Indy's track. It is missing the "Snake Temple" loop in it's ride path.
