Heard the rumors about this attraction. Didn't know when it was supposed to come out though. Thanks for the movie link. Pirates is definately this generation's adventure.
I do stuff sometimes.

If you check out www.miceage.com they have a pics of the new Island. I was really upset at first that it was going to be changed, but it does look pretty neat. Check it out :mickey:

I love the photos they did. Makes me wish my trip to Disneyland was right now.......only a little while longer and I will have pictures of the new island. The only thing that got me was the fact that the Fort still hasn't had any work done to it, it is still closed. Oh well guess they will get that fixed or replaced the next rehab of the island.

The pictures looked very cool, and I liked the video. I have mixed feelings about changing the original Tom Sawyer's Island. But if they still have some references to the original, I guess it's okay.

Some friends of mine went this weekend. Their pictures looked pretty neat. They said there was a huge line to get back on the boats to Disneyland.

I'm confused, so this means it's opened to the public? If so, they converted that island so fast!

I think so, I mean, I'm pretty sure the Pirate's Lair is open to the public now.

Yeah, I'm seeing pictures all over the place. Maybe I'll go this weekend. It's strange Disney didn't push this change more. It just -happened-, and fast.

So, has anyone seen the island yet? Is it really neat? The Lair part with the pirates coming alive seems really cool. I cant wait to check it out :mickey:

It's alright, but oh well. I think it was more toward to the children than adults as well. They do have a nice show though. But it would of been better off being the same.

I thought that island was part of frontierland. What does pirates have to do with frontierland?
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Love RCT3

It is near New Orleans which is home to Pirates of the Caribbean.

No, borjoyzee is right, it's a part of Frontierland.

I thought the upgrades were a nice, and needed, but it didn't have to be pirates. Though, pirates are the new hotness (which being hot means it cools down fast) and it attracts the kids.
