The castle's crowns?

Post by Just Believe » Oct Sun 15, 2006 12:28 pm

Now that the 50th anniversary has departed, what will happen to the castle? Are they going to remove the crowns, or leave them there until the 100th anniversary?
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

They're taking down the crowns and other special decorations that were put up for the 50th. They won't have to tarp the castle again, but there will be scaffolding up I believe this or next month... all down and ready to go by the Xmas season...

I will have to keep watching Mouse surplus to see if I can pick up a couple items, from both parks.

The crowns have already been removed, iirc. I hope they leave the paint job though, I quite like the pinkish version.

The crowns are gone and the castle still looks very cool.

IMO, it looks better without all the crowns. The Halloween decorations are up now and it looks very nice! :mickey:

I also like the Tower of Terror with its Halloween overlay. Looks great, still not as nice as WDW, but nice.

I liked the crowns...now it seems bare, even with Christmas Decorations (a wreath and some lights). The crowns made it look more festive and magical so to speak, and European in a sense.
