Birthday at Disneyland

Post by Esmeralda » Aug Wed 16, 2006 2:58 pm

I'll be going to Disneyland with my family they day after my birthday this August. Is there anything special I should do (or have them do for me!) to celebrate?

Make sure you get a sticker at City Hall. Then maybe find the Mad Hatter to sing the Un-Birtday song to you ;)

Sorry that this information is so late. If you get your birthday sticker at City Hall, make sure that you wear it to the Tortilla Factory in DCA. They will give you a whole package of fresh tortillas.

Mmm, I love those tortillas. Sounds like a fantastic reason for me to go back for my birthday next year!

Dude, that's so cool. I never knew that. You could always lie and say it's your Birthday. :) I'll probably do that.

I have a question... Is it possible to get a birthday package a week after your birthday. My fiancee and I are going to Disneyland a week after her birthday in October. It was the only week we could get off from both of our jobs. Anyone have the answer... Let me know.

I'm sure it is, that's really close to her birthday. You can always call and ask though :)

Our trip to WDW in Jan is close to my friend's birthday, so when they asked if we're celebrating anybody b-day I said yes.

Yes, we have done it. Just tell them that you are celebrating your birthday a week late.

Soccermouse is right. I celebrated my birthday late at Disneyland and they had no problem whatsoever. I got my very own Sorcerer Mickey bucket with presents inside and a personal sized cake!

You should mention that the buckets and cake are not free. They can be purchased from a cart outside of the Plaza Inn at the Hub. They have been $20.

That's true. I don't know how much they cost because I got them as a gift from my family. We got them delivered to our room at the Disneyland Hotel!

My boyfriends little brother was there during his birthday and he got the sticker and almost every cast member we past greeted him by name and wished him a happy birthday! It was so cool. It made me smile and it wasn't even my birthday! :hatter_bounce:
I do stuff sometimes.

You can order a birthday cake from the DLR bakery and have it delivered to any of the Disney Restaurants (we had ours delivered to Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel). It was by far the best cake I have ever eaten and there was A LOT of it! You can pick the theme, flavor and type of icing (go for the buttercream).
A very merry unbirthday to you!
