Has anyone ever been to Mickey's Halloween Treat? If so, do you have pictures? We are attending this year and are excited about creating our costumes. Thanks for anyone's input!

I went last year with my best friend and her two daughters. We had a blast! So much so, in fact, that I got tickets for this year as well.

Don't be afraid to dress up! Adults can trick-or-treat the candy stations too, and it's loads of fun. There's lots of characters out for photo ops (I think we got more character photos that night than any other time we've been to the parks), and some of the more rare ones come out to play too.

I think I lost most of my photos in the Great Hard Drive Crash of 2006, but I'll poke around and see what I can find.

Thanks for the help. We are planning our costumes now and were debating if the adults should dress up too. You solidified our decision. Now we just have to get the grandparents to dress up!

Last year I tried to talk my wife into letting me take the kids, but she did not think that it would be anything special. Now I have some good information to give her. Thanks!

Is there any limitations of costumes? Scary Costumes and adults not being able to dress like disney characters (to prevent confusion)?

Here are the costume regulations according to the Disneyland.com website

"All costumes must adhere to any guidelines as determined solely by Disney. Please choose costumes that are not obstructive, offensive, or violent. Guests' eyes must be visible at all times. "

I hope that helps.

If you are choosing to dress like a disney character, however, be aware that you are not to sign autographs or stop for pictures with other guests (basically, don't convince people you're one of THE disney princesses employed by the resort).

Also, no weapons, or accessories that may be mistaken or considered a weapon. Costumes must not drag on the ground or potentially hurt other guests. Basically, use your best judgement.
