New Vacation DVD-Animation Look

Post by bryceran » Mar Fri 24, 2006 1:35 am

I have to say that I really liked the new Disneyland vacation DVD. While it is not as long as WDW (obviously it is not as large as WDW), it is so much better than last years. It has cool DVD design, cool motion/graphics, and is just plain fun.

Anyone else watched it? I guess DL did their website over a little bit. Not too much, but enough to look different. Do you guys like the retro style thing? The old school type of animation look.

I love the retro styling! It is so fun. The only thing that I have to complain about is that the new DVD is such a whirlwind tour of Disneyland that it might almost be confusing if someone hasn't ever been there. It would be nice if they slowed it down just a little. Anyhow, the retro animation is such a great touch and perfect for the 50th celebration.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I haven't seen it yet visually. But what the others say, it might look good

It looks good. It really needed updating. I always wondered why DLR website and vacation dvd's were of such poor quality compared to WDW?

Probably because they don't have nearly as much revenue. maybe the 50th has given them more cash flow to do this stuff. I could be totally wrong though.
