I have found one of the best websites for aerial shots of the park. Just go to http://local.live.com/ and double-click on the areas that the park is in(you have to keep doing that until you get to the park. When you get there go to the upper left corner of the picture and click on BIRD'S EYE. You won't be dissappointed.

The link again is:

http://local.live.com/

Play around with it for a while. If you have questions just post them here so everyone can benefit from them.

Reminder it is still in BETA testing so it only has major cities and historical landmarks.

I've seen this site before I think. It's a pretty good aerial map as far as I can see. Every street I could ever want on there, and a nice view of Disneyland.

For Disneyland, it just goes to show how much better Disneyland is compared to DCA as far as atmosphere goes. Look at the greenery. That's the tell all there.

Wow, sub. Right you are. It's amazing to see how green Disnelyand looks from above. Perhaps there is a chance that someday DCA will look that way too?

Told ya :P NOW did you try the N S E W button too??

For those of you who didn't try the Bird's eye it gives you a 3-d image of the park AND you can look from the North, South, East, and West. O and you can zoom in further too :D . I think I will let you figure out the rest.

The Bird's Eye view is really pretty cool. Until I tried that, I thought it was just a poor copy of Google's sattelite maps.

Wow - we use a lot of maps at work and this blows all of them away. We have gone to Google Earth for urban projects but this seems to be better than that. I had also thought it was just a cheap rip off of Google maps - looks like serious competition. DCA has to plant some trees, rip out that asphalt parking lot, and add some more attractions!

Man, that's pretty incredible! I love the North-South-East-West button and how you can change the orientation!

Best thing I've ever seen. And now I'm going to be wasting hours of my life on this thing.

I would have to say the images are much more clear at the close-up level

Yeah I new you guys would like, if you gave it a chance. The only thing that I hope they fix in future is more 3-d pics of the rest of the US including WDW(still just an aerial) but they are working on it. It costs alot of money and man hours to photograph every inch of the planet. Most of the Major Cities in the US are done when they are they move on to Major cities in the rest of the world and then finally scan everyother inch. Sad to say this will take YEARS.

Bird's eye should be integrated into the Google Earth program, that would make the merged a great program.
