I can't imagine doing that. If I paid to get in the park, I'd go throughout the park and not just there.

It makes one smart person (maybe a few) rich from milking a stupid crowd. Harry Potter, the ipod, Twilight, Disney...er...let me take that last back... :mickey:

Nope. I've said it before but the Human Being is a stupid species of animal. Fandom is just one of many outlets for stupidity to manifest itself in the Human Being.

Now I am far from being among the smartest people in the world but seeing some of the stupid things people have done makes me feel like Albert Einstein... 8-)

Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

What does everyone think about Star Tours taking over the Buzz Lightyear FP machines? I would think Buzz would back up pretty quickly without FP

I'm real glad to see that King Triton is being put back to use after they removed him from Ariel's Grotto in DLR.

Why would they need to do that? Star Tours already has FP machines.

I was always wondering what happened to the bronze statue of Triton, I guess that is a good but still a bit of a downgrade if they removed a function from it.

I guess Star Tours had FP's in the past but got "borrowed" by some other attraction (could they have been taken for TSMM?). So now Star Tours will borrow Buzz. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, eh?

I can't wait for the Soundsational Parade as it really looks amazing. I wish WDW would get original ideas like that instead of just re-hashed old parades.

But... .....re-hashed old parades are cheaper! Budgets are tight (and their wallets more so)... :mickey:

Ah, I did not notice that change. I know prior to the construction they really didn't need a machine for either ride, but they will (at least in the short term) need it for the new version of star tours. I knew they took them out of comission earlier than the rest of the construction (they were working on the paving and the overflow section of the line) but I am surprised they would disconnect the machines from the building, perhaps they are going to put something interesting there?

Hopefully they will add those to Midway Mania, you can go there on a weekday in the off season and still have over a 40 minute wait.

That was a great update this week. Finally have the dates set in stone. It should be an exciting week or so with two new attractions opening and a brand new parade debuting to kick off summer. It should be interesting to hear how the Mermaid is. A lot of people have high expectations for this ride, including me, and I hope it can live up to them.

Also in today's Parks Blog a video was enclosed showing the arrival and installation of the clambshells ride vehicles for the attraction. They look really good!
